It all begins with an idea,

In 2016, I decided I needed to be creative again. I started playing around with making simple jewelry and fell in love with the process. My business grew and my focus changed, and I discovered the amazing possibilities of silver and other metals. I brought my passion for plants and nature into my jewelry, and Alena May Jewelry was born.

I experiment with metal. I try new techniques, I use time-tested techniques, and I see what happens. I start with metal sheet and wire (and also scrap from previous projects) and design, saw, solder, hammer, fuse, carve and play. The end results are the pieces you see on this site.
